1. Pencil Box with Snake Pencils by Nightingale Projects ($28)

“Nightingale Projects is a super-creative husband and wife team. I love their match tins and pencil boxes so much. They make storing the mundane, like matches, a lovely experience! And their to-do lists actually make me want to keep my life more organized.”

2. Printed Cards by SFA Gallery (available at Modern Love)

"John Schmidtberger is a local artist and gallery owner. He has turned some of his iconic Frenchtown paintings of buildings, homes and the bridge into cards, which we are so happy to sell! He captures our little river town so perfectly! This card in particular that has Modern Love on it! The lower left is us!"

3. Goat's Milk Soap by Farmer Meg ($15)

SxS: "These adorably packaged soaps are created by a one-woman farmer who raises the goats herself. Love the delicious scents and how moisturizing they are."

4. Hand-Dyed Pillows by Salt + Still (from $85)

"We were instantly drawn in by the hues, patterns, and designs of Ali Smith's wide range of lifestyle goods. Her tea towels will make a great gift!"

5. Wall Hangings by Steady Hand Creative (from $110)

SxS: "Modern bohemians will adore these artful woven hangings that add texture and interest to every wall."

6. Lap Loom Kit by Woven Craft ($62)

SxS: "If DIY is more your speed, this handcrafted loom kit makes it easy to learn to weave smaller pieces. You can even weave your own wall hanging."

7. Brass Plant Trivet by Modern Love Made, $45

"I have to give a little shout-out to the in-house made goods! I love when people buy the home goods I make because they are a labor of love for the shop. It gives me nothing but pleasure to spend my idle time making things that will not only enhance the shop but then hopefully someone's home."

8. The Canal House Cookbooks by The Canal House ($19.95)

"Melissa Hamilton and Christopher Hirsheimer are the cream of the crop when it comes to developing recipes. Their cookbooks are some of my favorites—each one has a lovely collection of seasonal recipes."

9. Taper Candles by Tassot Apiaries ($5 each)

"I have been carrying these beeswax candles the whole time I have had the shop. They have a long burn time, and I love the modern style of the hexagon taper!”

10. Crocks by Kissimmee Pottery (Available at Modern Love)

"The simplicity of Kissimmee Pottery designs are what I was drawn to. I love that I can handpick glazes and styles and they are made not far from the shop!"
