Mile End Delicatessen

53 Bond St, New York, NY, 10012

Since opening their Boerum Hill, Brooklyn location in 2010, this deli has been serving an updated version of the Jewish comfort food that co-owner Noah Bernamoff grew up with in Montreal. The team makes their own products, including smoked meats, pickled goods, and breads, which are highlighted across the menu in dishes like chopped liver, matzo ball soup, and kale and whitefish Caesar salads. Meanwhile, it’s handheld favorites, such as reubens and smoked brisket sandwiches, that dominate at the Noho outpost.
