The Goose Hollow Inn

1927 SW Jefferson St, Portland, OR, 97201

A Portland institution, The Goose Hollow Inn is a laid back watering hole opened by Bud Clark, a beloved former mayor of Portland. You’ll find an outdoor deck, cheap pitchers, tons of photos and memorabilia along the walls, and one of the tastiest Reuben sandwiches in Portland.

The Goose Hollow Inn is my favorite old school Portland hang out. If you would rather hang out with a bunch of old dudes drinking cheap beer instead of hipsters, this is the place. It hasn't changed at all in forever, and it's the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon with friends. Life moves a little slower at the Goose Hollow Inn, so grab a picnic table on the patio, a pitcher of beer, and a famous Reuben sandwich (the best in town!) and stay awhile. Then go make friends with one of the old timers and ask them to tell you what Portland was like 'back in the day'.
