Trattoria Lucca

41 Bogard St, Charleston, SC, 29403

At this Tuscan eatery, house-made pastas are freshly rolled every afternoon, and the menu varies daily depending on what ingredients are locally available. There's not a full bar because the wine pairings were carefully designed by the chef. With both communal and intimate seating and authentic recipes, Trattoria Lucca brings the true Italian experience to the Lowcountry. Which means, of course, that it's also the perfect hideaway for lovers.

One of my favorite restaurants in Charleston. It's in a transitional neighborhood but is worth the trip. The food is amazing, genuinely Italian, and very local. This is definitely a foodie restaurant.
